Student Technology Support

From finding computer labs to finish your assignments to general questions about how to use My4Cs—there's a lot of technology at your fingertips at Cape Cod Community College.

For quick reference, here's two important resources:

4Cs Help Desk

4Cs Laptop Loan program provides laptops free of charge to students who are currently registered. Students may request a laptop loaner for the duration of the semester provided they are registered for 9 or more credits. Laptops are lent on a first-come-first-serve basis. If approved, student can pick up laptop during the first week of classes once registration is confirmed. There is no cost to participate in this program.

Laptops must be returned on the last final day for the current term. Laptops that are not returned will be billed to the student account in the amount of the purchase price.

You can use your mobile device to view your College e-mail!

Use the Outlook mobile app:

  1. Use the appropriate link to install Outlook on your device:

    App Store (iOS and iPadOS devices)
    Google Play (Android devices)

  2. Login using your 4Cs e-mail address and password

Use the native mail app on your device:

  • Account Type: Select work or school e-mail accounts or Exchange ActiveSync. (On older devices, you may need to select IMAP or POP. This syncs your e-mail only, not your calendar.)
  • Username: Use your full 4Cs e-mail address
  • Server: outlook.office365.com

Free Microsoft Office 365 programs and mobile apps! You can download and install the latest version of Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) on up to five PC or Mac computers, and install Office mobile apps on any of your mobile devices. Go to Microsoft 365 (My4Cs login required), select the Install Apps button (top left), and select the Microsoft 365 option.

We're here to help with:

  • Trouble accessing your classes or class materials on Moodle

  • College e-mail: see your 4Cs e-mail and access other Microsoft online services.
  • EAB Navigate: a student-success tool that allows for better communication between you and your advisor and instructors, and helps you stay on track in your college education.
  • Moodle: 4Cs' learning management system (classes).
  • My4Cs: your hub to find news, events, announcements, and links to other information sources.
  • Rave Alerts: manage your mobile alerts for weather closings and other emergencies.
  • Zoom: connect to a Zoom class or meeting.

Campus printers are for academic use only. Students can print in any computer classroom, lab, or Library. All campus computers print to a network printer nearby. Every student is allotted 150 printed pages per semester for free. After the first 150 pages, students can go to the Business Office to purchase an additional 150 pages for $10.

Note: Do not save files to the hard drive of classroom and lab computers. Files saved to those computers are automatically deleted whenever the computers are restarted. Consider saving to one of the following storage locations instead:

  • Online: With your College e-mail account you have cloud storage space (called OneDrive), accessible from any computer or device with an internet connection. Go to Microsoft Office 365 Apps (My4Cs login required) and select OneDrive.
  • USB Drives: All College computers have USB ports that can read and save to USB drives.
  • Network Drives: The network drives listed below are only accessible from campus computers:

*Network administrators have access to files on all drives
** The Common Drive is for temporary, public storage only. Files are deleted from the Common Drive periodically.

Wi-Fi (secure wireless internet) is available in all buildings of the main campus, the Hyannis Center, and the Plymouth Airport Center.

  • Students/Faculty/Staff: Use your My4Cs username & password to access the secure CCCC_WiFi network. Open a web browser and use the Agree button.
  • Guests: Main campus guests may access the open Public_WiFi network (no password required).
